Cold Air Funnel Develops Into Damaging Tornado In Roswell

While many Roswell residents were celebrating Cinco De Mayo, others were watching a fairly rare weather phenomenon which resulted in significant area property damage. An EF0 tornado developed from a cold air funnel around 1:00 PM west of Roswell destoying a cinder block garage and wrapping its door around a nearby power pole. The damage occurred at a farm house located near Eisnehower and La Quinta Roads just west of Roswell.
